Title: Trusting God’s Timing Scripture:“He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.” – Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NKJV) Message:One of the greatest challenges we face is waiting on God’s timing. In a world that thrives on instant gratification, patience can feel like a lost virtue. Yet, God’s Word teaches us the beauty and perfection of His timing. He orchestrates every detail of our lives with precision, ensuring that everything aligns for our ultimate good and His glory. When we rush ahead or lag behind, we can miss the fullness of His plan. Trusting God’s timing requires faith and surrender. It means believing that He knows best, even when circumstances seem to contradict His promises. It’s understanding that delays are not denials but divine setups for something greater. Consider the story of Joseph, who endured years of hardship before seeing the fulfillment of God’s promises. His journey, filled with trials and tribulations, was essential for his growth and preparation for the role God had for him. Similarly, God uses our waiting periods to refine us, build our character, and draw us closer to Him. As you wait on God, remember that He is at work behind the scenes, aligning everything according to His perfect plan. Trust that His timing is impeccable and that He will make everything beautiful in its time. Hold onto His promises, and let your faith in His timing bring you peace and assurance. Prayer:Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your perfect timing in my life. Help me to trust You completely and to wait patiently for Your plans to unfold. Strengthen my faith and teach me to rest in Your promises, knowing that You are working all things together for my good. Fill me with Your peace and patience as I wait on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Title: Obtaining Grace.  Message : Grace is often defined as God’s unmerited favor toward us, a gift freely given that we do not deserve. Yet, while grace is freely available to all, obtaining it requires an act of faith and surrender on our part. In this devotional, let’s explore what it means to obtain grace and how we can fully embrace God’s abundant blessings in our lives. Scripture Reading: Hebrews 4:16 (NIV) “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Reflection: Pause and reflect on the words of Hebrews 4:16. This verse invites us to approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, knowing that we will receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Consider what it means to approach God’s throne of grace. Are there areas in your life where you need His mercy and grace? As you meditate on the concept of obtaining grace, consider the posture of your heart. Are you approaching God with humility and sincerity, acknowledging your need for His grace? Take a moment to surrender any pride or self-sufficiency, and invite God to pour out His grace upon you. Think about the ways in which God’s grace has manifested in your life. Reflect on past experiences where His grace has been evident, providing strength, guidance, and comfort in times of trial. Give thanks for His faithfulness and provision, knowing that His grace is always sufficient for you. Title: Embracing Passion for Christ.  Scripture Reading: Psalm 42:1-2 (NIV) “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?” Message: In a world filled with distractions and competing priorities, it’s easy to lose sight of our ultimate purpose—to love and serve Jesus Christ with all our hearts. Yet, as followers of Christ, our deepest longing should be to know Him intimately and to passionately pursue His will for our lives. In this devotional, let’s explore the transformative power of having a passion for Christ and how it can revolutionize our faith journey. Reflection: Pause and reflect on the imagery of Psalm 42:1-2. Just as a deer thirsts for water, so should our souls thirst for God. Do you find yourself longing for deeper intimacy with Christ? Are you yearning to know Him more intimately and to experience His presence in your life? Consider the areas of your life where your passion for Christ may have waned. Have you allowed busyness, distractions, or worldly desires to overshadow your love for Him? Take a moment to confess any areas of apathy or indifference in your heart and ask God to reignite the flame of passion within you. Think about the times in your life when your passion for Christ burned brightly. What were the key factors that fueled your zeal for Him? Perhaps it was a season of fervent prayer, immersion in His Word, or fellowship with other believers. Whatever it may be, ask God to revive that passion within you and to guide you back to a place of wholehearted devotion. As you rekindle your passion for Christ, commit to pursuing Him with everything you have. Make time for prayer, worship, and studying His Word. Seek opportunities to serve others and share the love of Christ with those around you. Let your life be a testament to the transforming power of a passionate pursuit of Jesus Christ. Prayer: Lord Jesus, ignite within us a passion for You that burns brighter than ever before. Help us to thirst for You as the deer pants for water and to pursue You with all our hearts. May our lives be a reflection of Your love and grace, drawing others into a deeper relationship with You. In Your precious name, amen. Further Reading:

Title: He Lifted You.  Scripture Reading: Psalm 3:3 (NIV)“But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high Message:In life, there are moments when we feel weighed down by burdens, struggles, and challenges that seem insurmountable. It is during these times that we may question our worthiness or ability to overcome. Yet, in the midst of our doubts and fears, God’s hand reaches down to lift us up. He is our strength in weakness, our refuge in times of trouble, and our constant source of hope. In this devotional, let’s explore the profound truth that God is the lifter of our heads, and He has lifted you up from every valley you’ve faced. Reflection:Pause and reflect on the words of Psalm 3:3. In times of adversity, David found solace in knowing that God was his protector and the lifter of his head. Despite the challenges he faced, David trusted in God’s faithfulness to lift him above his circumstances and restore his hope. Think about moments in your own life when you felt overwhelmed or discouraged. Perhaps you faced a season of loss, uncertainty, or failure. In those moments, did you sense God’s presence lifting you up and carrying you through? Reflect on how God has been your strength and support, even when you felt weakest. Consider also the ways in which God has lifted you up spiritually. Through His grace and mercy, He has forgiven your sins, healed your wounds, and restored your soul. His love knows no bounds, and His desire is to see you thrive and flourish in every area of your life. As you meditate on God’s faithfulness, take comfort in knowing that He is always with you, ready to lift you up from whatever circumstances you face. Trust in His promises, lean on His strength, and rest in the assurance that He is the lifter of your head. Prayer:Heavenly Father, I thank You for being my constant source of strength and support. Thank You for lifting me up from the valleys of despair and restoring my hope. Help me to trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are always with me, lifting me higher and guiding me forward. In Jesus’ name, amen. Further Reading: Psalm 30:1-3 – “I will exalt you, Lord, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me. Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me. You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead; you spared me from going down to the pit.”Isaiah 41:10 – “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Title: Be Still and Know. Scripture Reading: Psalm 46:10 (NIV) – “He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’” MESSAGE:God urges us to take a moment to cease, be still, and recognize His dominion among the hustle and bustle of life. God’s omnipotence and our need to put our trust in Him are powerfully emphasized by the words “Be still and know that I am God” from Psalm 46:10. This devotional will discuss the importance of creating a calm environment in our life and feeling the serenity that comes from knowing God. Reflection: Reflect on the words of Psalm 46:10 and consider what it means to “be still” in the presence of God. In a world filled with noise and distractions, stillness can be challenging to attain, yet it is essential for our spiritual well-being. Being still involves quieting our minds, surrendering our worries, and resting in the assurance of God’s sovereignty and love. We make room in our life for God to speak to us, console us, and give us new strength when we purposefully carve out times of silence. We experience unfathomable serenity in the stillness of His presence—a peace that keeps our hearts and minds safe in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We may let go of our worries and problems when we lie down in God’s presence because we know that He is in charge and that He will never abandon us. The instruction to “be still” calls for an active faith in God’s omnipotence rather than a passive one. It entails giving up our desire to influence events and submitting to God’s ideal plan and timing. Even in the face of uncertainty and adversity, we may have faith that He is working everything out for our good and His glory because we recognize His greatness and majesty. It’s not always simple to be still, particularly in a society that prizes activity and output. However, practicing quiet is a spiritual practice that can fortify our faith and enhance our relationship with God. Making time for prayer, meditation, or just spending time in God’s company a priority puts us in a position to hear from God and accept His direction for our life. Prayer: Heavenly Father, help us to embrace the discipline of stillness and to find peace in your presence. Teach us to quiet our hearts and minds amidst the noise of life, so that we may know you more deeply and trust in your sovereignty. May we rest in the assurance of your love and faithfulness, knowing that you are always with us. In Jesus’ name, amen. Further Reading: Psalm 62:5-8 – “My soul, wait silently for God alone”Isaiah 30:15 – “In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.”May this devotional on “Be Still and Know” encourage you to prioritize stillness in your relationship with God and experience the peace that comes from trusting in His sovereignty. May you find rest and renewal in His presence, knowing that He is always with you, guiding and sustaining you each step of the way.

Title: Divine Encounter. Message: Throughout Scripture, we see accounts of people who had profound encounters with God that transformed their lives. From Moses encountering God in the burning bush to Jacob wrestling with the angel, these divine encounters often marked pivotal moments in the lives of those who experienced them. In this devotional, titled “Divine Encounter,” let’s explore the significance of encountering God’s presence in our everyday lives and the transformation it brings. Scripture Reading: Exodus 3:1-6 (NIV) – “Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses thought, ‘I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.’ When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, ‘Moses! Moses!’ And Moses said, ‘Here I am.’ ‘Do not come any closer,’ God said. ‘Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.’ Then he said, ‘I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.’ At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.” Reflection: Reflect on the encounter between Moses and God at the burning bush in Exodus 3. Despite Moses’ initial hesitation and fear, God revealed Himself to Moses in a powerful way, calling him to a significant purpose and mission. This encounter marked the beginning of a transformative journey for Moses, as he was commissioned to lead the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt. Like Moses, we are invited to encounter God’s presence in our everyday lives. Though we may not experience a burning bush, God often reveals Himself to us through His Word, prayer, worship, and the prompting of the Holy Spirit. These divine encounters have the power to transform our perspectives, renew our minds, and set us on a path of purpose and obedience to God’s will. Just as God instructed Moses to remove his sandals because the ground he was standing on was holy, we are called to recognize and reverence the sacred moments when God’s presence intersects with our lives. Whether in times of worship, prayer, or quiet reflection, may we approach these moments with humility, reverence, and awe, knowing that we are standing on holy ground in the presence of the Almighty God As we encounter God’s presence, may we be willing to respond in obedience, just as Moses did. God often reveals His will and purposes to us in these moments, calling us to step out in faith and trust Him with the outcome. Whether it’s a call to serve, to forgive, or to step into a new season, may we have the courage to obey God’s leading and trust that He will equip us for the journey ahead. Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for the privilege of encountering your presence in our lives. Help us to be attentive to your voice and sensitive to your leading. May we approach every divine encounter with reverence and awe, knowing that we are standing on holy ground. Give us the courage to obey your call and step into the purposes you have for us. In Jesus’ name, amen. Further Reading: Genesis 28:10-22 – Jacob’s encounter with God at BethelActs 9:1-19 – Saul’s encounter with Jesus on the road to DamascusMay this devotional on “Divine Encounter” inspire you to seek God’s presence in your everyday life and to respond obediently to His leading. Title: “He’s Above All: Surrendering to the Sovereignty of God” Scripture Reading: Psalm 95:3 (NIV) – “For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods.” Message:In a world filled with uncertainty and challenges, it’s comforting to know that there is One who reigns supreme above all else. In this devotional, titled “He’s Above All,” let’s explore the profound truth of God’s sovereignty and the peace that comes from surrendering to His divine authority. Reflection:Reflect on the majestic declaration of Psalm 95:3, affirming that the Lord is the great God, reigning supreme above all gods and powers. This truth reminds us that regardless of the circumstances we face or the challenges that confront us, God is greater, higher, and more powerful than anything in this world. When we acknowledge His sovereignty and surrender to His authority, we find refuge and strength in His unfailing love and care. Surrender is not a sign of weakness but a posture of trust and faith in God’s perfect plan and purposes. When we surrender to God’s sovereignty, we relinquish our need for control and submit our lives to His divine will. It’s an act of humility and obedience that allows God to work His perfect plan in and through us, leading us on paths of righteousness and blessing. In the midst of life’s storms and uncertainties, there is a place of refuge and peace found in the presence of God. When we acknowledge that He is above all, we can rest assured that nothing is beyond His control or outside of His loving care. As we draw near to Him in prayer, worship, and meditation on His Word, we experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). As we journey through life, let us hold fast to the promises of God’s Word, knowing that He who is above all is faithful to fulfill His promises to us. His Word stands firm and unchanging, a sure foundation upon which we can build our lives and anchor our faith. Let us trust in His goodness, wisdom, and sovereignty, knowing that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Prayer:Heavenly Father, thank you for your sovereignty and majesty. Help us to surrender our lives fully to you, trusting in your perfect plan and purposes. May we find peace and rest in your presence, knowing that you are above all and in control of all things. Strengthen our faith and help us to trust in your promises, even in the midst of life’s uncertainties. In Jesus’ name, amen. Further Reading: Psalm 47:2 (NIV) – “For the Lord Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth.”Isaiah 46:9-10 (NIV) – “Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’”May this devotional on “He’s Above All” remind you of the sovereignty and greatness of our God, and may it inspire you to surrender your life fully to His loving care and authority. May you find peace, strength, and assurance in His presence, knowing that He is above all and in control of all things.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

LIVE FOR CHRIST Sunday, February 25th. Pastor Chris For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead (2 Corinthians 5:14). There’re many who don’t understand the purpose for life. So, they think a great life is when you’ve amassed a lot of wealth or earthly possessions; no. Jesus said in Luke 12:15, “…Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.” He also taught about a rich man who had such a bountiful harvest that he needed to tear down his storehouses and build new ones to store his crops. He was excited to have laid up so much supplies for himself. But while he was relishing the thought of all that he had amassed, God came into his room and said, “…You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?” (Luke 12:20 NIV). What’s the purpose for your life in this world? Why are you here? It’s to make sure the Gospel of Jesus Christ goes to the ends of the earth. Our Lord Jesus said, “…Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). In Matthew 28:19, He said, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations….” Personalize your role in the Gospel and say like the Apostle Paul, “According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust” (1 Timothy 1:11). Recall what the Lord said to him in Acts 26:16, “…I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness…” (Acts 26:16). We are His witnesses; it should be what excites you. You may not be a pastor, evangelist, teacher, prophet or apostle, but you’re a minister of reconciliation, called to be a soul-winner. So, live your life for Christ unreservedly. Come what may, stand for Jesus Christ and His Kingdom. Preach the Gospel no matter what. I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me, and I live for Him. He’s made me a passionate, committed and fearless soul winner, and today, through me, many receive the Gospel gladly and are converted to the Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Romans 10:13-15 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 1 Corinthians 9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! Title: “Praises: Unlocking the Power of Gratitude and Worship” Scripture Reading: Psalm 100:4 (NIV) – “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” Message: Praise is more than just a spontaneous expression of gratitude; it is a powerful spiritual weapon that unlocks God’s presence, power, and provision in our lives. In this devotional, titled “Praises,” let’s delve into the significance of cultivating a lifestyle of gratitude and worship, and how it can transform our hearts, minds, and circumstances. Reflection:Reflect on the invitation of Psalm 100:4 to enter God’s presence with thanksgiving and praise. Praise is the key that opens the door to communion with our Heavenly Father, allowing us to draw near to Him and experience His goodness, love, and faithfulness in a tangible way. When we approach God with a heart full of gratitude and worship, we position ourselves to receive His blessings and encounter His glory in our lives. Gratitude is a transformative attitude that shifts our focus from what we lack to what we have, from despair to hope, and from fear to faith. When we choose to give thanks in all circumstances, we acknowledge God’s sovereignty and provision, even in the midst of trials and challenges. Gratitude opens our eyes to the countless blessings that surround us each day and fills our hearts with joy, peace, and contentment. Worship is our response to the greatness, goodness, and majesty of God. It is an act of surrender, adoration, and reverence that acknowledges His worthiness and exalts His name above all else. When we lift our voices in praise, we declare God’s sovereignty over every situation, aligning our hearts with His will and inviting His presence to dwell among us. Worship is not just a Sunday ritual but a lifestyle of intimacy and surrender that permeates every aspect of our lives. As we cultivate a lifestyle of praise and worship, we unleash God’s power and provision in our lives and circumstances. Praise shifts the atmosphere, breaks chains of bondage, and releases breakthroughs and miracles. It is a declaration of faith that magnifies God above our problems and invites His kingdom to reign in our midst. Let us never underestimate the impact of our praises, for they have the power to transform hearts, change circumstances, and usher in God’s kingdom on earth. Prayer:Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of praise and worship. Help us to cultivate hearts of gratitude and lips of praise, that we may enter your presence with thanksgiving and worship you in spirit and in truth. May our lives be a continual offering of praise to you, our faithful and loving Father, who is worthy of all honor, glory, and adoration. In Jesus’ name, amen.
